Oh well!!! what you want to do is this, work as hard as you can, get in early stay late, effectivley finsh every project you have sucessfully, now here is the fun part, if your employer attempts to make you redundant without following standard procedures, get a good lawyer hope your employer gets your job description mixed up with someone else's, screw them for a large sum .............take a year off or perhaps longer:lol:

What you really meant to say was.

"Get sacked for being crap at your job. Then, to boost your shattered morale, big it up like it was all part of a master plan."

I never made a mint Tim. I am pleased for you but this one upmanship on a Monday morning when I and most others have a 50-60 hour week ahead of us we do not want to hear about another day of lesiure from you or how much money you have or what properties you are going to buy. A little humility would not go a miss.

GG LET IT BE..............340 Pontefract should be a lot fresher over 2m 2f than its 12 rivals.

GG you went self employed I imagine when you and others in your industry sensed that house prices especially around Brighton and Hove would rise and rise and never fall at that point forgetting the simple Brighton family who could not afford to live in there own city (town) whilst prices were being cranked and up by greedy estate agents overpricing everything they could get their hands on, and getting away with it.

I know families ripped apart as they have had to move away as they couldn't keep up with the exaggerated housing boom or those now in dire finanncial straits as they were persusded to take on loans they just can't maintain after being told PROPERTY PROPERTY PROPERTY you just can't lose.

Well guess what ...........you can!!!!

Estate agents did not/cannotr over pice proeprties, market forces will dictate their value

Possibly to property you boasted about trying to get for £ 60000 less was one of your families ripped apart

People need to take responsilbity for their own actions and not blame estate agents, lenders, loans companies etc

Social psychologists Erikson (1959), Jahoda (1979, 1981, 1982) and Seligman (1975) believe that exposure to events such as joblessness are capable of impairing an individual's psychological well-being. Psychological well-being is a multidimensional concept. Therefore, the impact of unemployment on mental health is likely to be manifest in many forms, including denigration of self-worth or self-esteem.

I knew Marie Jahoda. A remarkable woman.

In 1958 she developed the theory of Ideal Mental Health. Through her work Jahoda identified five categories which she said were vital to feelings of well-being. These were: time structure, social contact, collective effort or purpose, social identity or status, and regular activity. She maintained that the unemployed were deprived of all five, and that this accounted for much of the reported mental ill-health among unemployed people.

So, HB&B (and everyone else) ... take her lesson. And get a life!
