It was in the paper you write for (although it seems don't read):

Brighton Tory hopeful sparks political row over BNP comparison From The Argus)

Combined with the various slurs you've thrown in this thread it sounds either like you are a little boy whistling in the dark and/or desperate to chuck enough shit at the Green regardless of the truth to try and stop a victory for Dr Lucas.

If you want a straw to clutch at my son has a nice Mickey Mouse one:lol:

What next, Derek Spencer wore ladies slippers.

To be honest I can't work out if you're a hopeless liar or just chronically thick.

Your party was pushing slurs though people's letter boxes over the weekend, your candidate made a pathetic attempt to link the Greens to neo-Nazis and you've peppered this thread by childish drivel about Green voters.

I think that was the leaflet I got through the door yesterday. To be honest, it looked like the rantings of a deranged nutter - the sort that writes to local paper in block capitals and green ink about how the grocer at the end of the street is a docking station for alien spacecraft.

I think Charlotte Vere's lacklustre campaign shows that the Tories have pretty much given up on winning Pavilon and are probably putting all the energy into Kemp Town and Hove (and will probably win both).

Seriously - do you really think that's the case?

I do find it strange that, even though I'm in a Labour/Green area, I haven't had one piece of Tory literature through my door.

Of course he doesn't. He doesn't like the Tories and every post about them is used to run their campaign down. He's just like the rest of you on this thread. My party's right. Your party's wrong. Ya boo sucks.

This election can't come soon enough for some.

The point is - I haven't seen their campaign. They haven't even tried to entice me into voting for them.

The only things I have seen are Charlotte Vere on telly twice, and both times saying she is the only one with a positive message (though not saying what it is) and positive campaigning, then immediately insulting the opposition.

Well, here in BN2, I've had the Greens umpteen times, Labour once, Tories twice but sadly no sign of the undead candidate nor the Lib Dems. I could be way off the mark but your closeness to Nancy Platts and the Labour campaign suggests you may have sympathies that way. Perhaps they know you're a lost cause to them.

I have no closeness to Nancy Platts; she has been round twice, though, principally to talk education policy with the missus. I have sympathies towards her, and if she wins (unlikely) I do think she would make a good constituency MP, but she doesn't have my vote, and I have told her why.

As for the Lib Dems, I'm surprised that the TV is making something of Brighton Pavilion being a four-way marginal. the Lib Dems historically are nothing in Brighton. They may pick up a few votes, but I'm guessing not enough to make much of a dent.

My predictions, incidentally for the city seats are...

Brighton Pavilion
1. Green
2. Conservative
3. Labour

Brighton Kemptown
1. Conservative
2. Green
3. Labour

Hove
1. Conservative
2. Labour
3. Green

Just a guess, but who knows...?

The bookies?

Brighton Pavilion
1. Green 1/2 - 11/13
2. Conservative 2/1 - 5/2
3. Labour 9/2 - 8/1
4. Lib Dem 10/1 - 28/1

Brighton Kemptown
1. Conservative 2/17 - 1/7
2. Labour 4/1 - 9/2
3. Lib Dem 16/1 - 40/1
4. Green 50/1 - 66/1

Hove
1. Conservative 1/12 - 2/17
2. Labour 9/2 - 5/1
3. Lib Dem 20/1 - 66/1
4. Green 50/1 - 66/1

Ditto. That's what's so strange about it. Labour and Green have been working this area like demented robots, I get leaflet from one of them every single day and we've been rung by both of them several times. I've had one mad leaflet from the Tories. I've also seen plenty of Labour and Green posters, I've not seen a single Tory one.

I follow Vere, Platts and Lucas on Twitter and while the latter two seem to be getting out and about a lot, Charlotte Vere seems reluctant to stir herself too far and if she's hitting the campaign trail, she's not talking about it much.

Yes, like TLO, we live in a Labour area but, as I mentioned before, if the Tories want to win this seat, they have to make inroads into the Labour vote. I'm seeing no signs that they're making an effort.

Get your money on Hove Labour, Lib Dems or Greens tonight. I hear Timmy is switching his campaining to Hove tomorrow and we could be in for a killing

FANTASTIC work, Agent Timmy.

Not only did you succeed in getting Caroline Lucas elected but your cunning adoption of a persona of gormless bigotry managed to push the Tories into 3rd place.

NSC salutes you.

This result will also be of great benefit to cyclists as a bonus, the full weight of democracy is behind the Greens and I'm sure Ms. Lucas will ban rowdy and aggresive "Bike-Bashers" from the prom.
