No, no, no, Agent Timmy. You endorsing the other candidates was not part of our cunning plan. You are supposed to keep your persona of dim witted deference and avarice going until at least polling day. It's only after that you reveal your true revolutionary Marxist self.

Just been told that the Tories have "given up" keeping hold of Eastbourne from the LD's. Apparently there is no suport for Nigel Waterson who has over the last 18 years made a lot of enemies in his own party.

Helpers are being drafted over to shore up Nicholas " Nick Clegg is a Nazi" Soames in Mid-Sussex, another complacent long-time MP who has lived off being the son and grandson of Tory grandees for years.

Difficult to imagine Haywards Heath going LD, but the Clegg factor might do it.

Yes, I saw her on Newsnight.

So much for her positive campaigning - wouldn't go to a house with a Labour (a party she labelled as 'socialist') banner on it in case she got laser-gunned, and that the Greens were worse than a 'reds under the beds' coalition between eco-Marxist and neo-Communists, even though, as the reporter pointed out, that did seem to be the same thing.

She really doesn't help herself.

We're not worried about Labour, we have a small concern re the radical lefty Greens getting too many votes due to tribal voting, in the yoghurt knitting areas.

Being worried about Labour, is like the Albion being worried about Southend. Being really worried about the Greens, is like the Albion being worried about Northampton next season.

So that explains why you misrepresent their policies:

Edit. Huh. My last post didn't show up.

HB&B, do you not think this thread is counter-productive. You seem to represent a lot of what people find offensive about the Tories.

You see very few people have read the Green manifesto all this alleged support is due to tribal voting or support. Its the trendy and diverse element its not political. I am voting Green cos I am so different. Did you see the guy on Newsnight who invited the BBC down so excited was he that Brighton might elect the UK'S first Green MP. Then he read the Green manifesto and changed his mind to Lib Dem or maybe Tory.

Not only are you mis-representing people's view, you are now actually talking out of your arse.

He said he'd listened to a live debate (not read the manifesto - although he did ask a question to The Greens about it), and was split between Lib Dem and Green, and that he would re-consider Green.

He said nothing about voting Tory.

He said nothing about NOT voting Tory either!
