Happy Mondays - Pills and Thrills and Bellyaches
Charlatans - the one with 'The Only one I know' on it

'Best Of's' exist for two types of people, the lazy who aren't really into a band and only want the songs they've heard of and the people who have heard the songs and use the compilations as a way in to explore a band further. HSH seems to be in the second catagory, so deserves the recommendations and not the snobbery.

Thankyou. I have that problem where I have so many best of albums and absolutely love them, but then miss out on a lot of good songs.

The Smiths....I'd say everything, bar Meat is Murder (track)- it just grates a little.
The Cure Faith, Pornography, Three Little Boys, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Head on The Door, Disintegration (can't wait for the Re-issue, remastered, extra tracks, THAT Encore live album in full *salivates*. Even if 80% of it is intro, I love it!) and Shake Dog Shake off The Top.

If this chap is a NIPPER, and he's dabbling with Smiths and Cure 'Best ofs', rather than listening to Lady f***ing GaGa, then more power to him.

Having said that, my advice would be to nip to HMV, where you can currently buy EVERY one of the Smiths studio albums on CD for THREE POUNDS each. Then listen at your leisure. No point whatsoever asking anyone, even HUGE Smiths fans, what the 'best' tracks are. The best ones are your own favourites, nowt else.

I am 18 in case you wondered..

I have downloaded some Blur tracks; Chemical World, Stereotypes, Out of Time, Sunday Sunday, Popscene and all seem good songs.

I am going to follow up the advice and buy the Smiths albums. Might do the same with the Cure.

Thanks to NSC :clap2:

Any album with LOADED and MOVIN' ON UP on it is worth £3 of anyone's money.
FACT.
Primal Scream, top band

Missed out on seeing them in Brighton last year:down:
