Can't be long until our next win. It gets closer every game.

Forget the real league table, we are still 8th in this one!

No change, expected point achieved. Still FIVE over.

Great battling point though.

Bring your boots next Sunday, you might get a game.

- First four games suggest a stonking 8 points which would put us in the top six?
- After that early promise only one more win in the next 12 games as the "More snow tomorrow" thread sees it's first outing. :)

Probably worth a reminder of my first before the season:

It was 9 points after 4 games...close.

Currently 1 win in 11 games...

The next win gets closer.
That's the way time works. Unless you are The Doctor, everything is getting closer, the next win, loss and draw, the next boo and the next act of wonderful shithousery from Neal. They will come to pass eventually

Updated league table after Sunday and Monday games.

Whilst we are 5 points ahead of the tracker, it is worth noting we are a MASSIVE 11 points ahead of the bottom three.

Would be surprised if 36 pts isn't safe for someone this season.

Yes I don't disagree. It is an odd season though and the unknown is Newcastle, and whether they can spend well in January to revive their fortunes. At the moment it seems pretty clear it's Norwich, Burnley, Newcastle for the drop but if Newcastle strengthen well I can see them getting closer to 40 points. It's just a question of whether the others above them maintain current form or drop off. Fair chance Watford will drop in then I would say.

Agree, GD always a big indicator of what is going on at this stage. Watford have picked up those valuable wins, but you look at their defeats and goals conceded column and they're never going to be far away from a poor run of results.
