For a comparison - our 4 seasons after game 22 :

17/18 - 12th - 23 points (game 22 was a home 2-2 draw with Bournemouth)
18/19 - 13th - 26 points (game 22 was a home 1-0 defeat to Liverpool)
19/20 - 14th - 24 points (game 22 was a 1-0 defeat at Everton (A))
20/21 - 15th - 24 points

From our next 7 league fixtures the tracker predicts we should aim to get 12 points.

Burnley Away
Villa Home
Palace Home
West Brom Away
Leicester Home
Saints Away
Newcastle Home

I suspect on current form we may get 14, giving us 38. Safe by March 20th.

Going to be a tough ask to go to Burnley and win again, maybe I just can’t see us winning 3 in a row, bloody hope we do though as we can really take the cup game seriously. To lose only 1 in 10 (in all competitions) would be insane if we can beat Leicester City away.

I think we’ll end up with 11 points out of those games.

I'd be happy with 10+. Keeps us ahead of target and sets us up nicely for the last 9 games. 12-14 would be an amazing return and put us (probably) safe with 9 games to spare. Proper mid table stuff

Now then - you're the keeper of all this data - have we been +5 before??

Yes we first went 5 over 4th November 2017 after winning at Swansea, but it only lasted one game.

However on 29th December 2018 we went 7 over with a win over Everton and held it at 7 over for a month until we lost at Fulham on the 29th January 2019. Some may recall that was the match where Ryan was rushed back into goal from an Australian trip, and the wheels seem to fall off after that.

Tried to block that out like PTSD, thanks Giraffe! [emoji1787][emoji16]

Still 5 over, expected draw. Next two look tough to get six points though, good to have a bit in hand ahead of those.

We have just taken a year to win our first home game - I think some people are getting carried away in thinking 19 out of 21 points are coming are way in those 7 fixtures. 1 today , so going to win the next 6 in a row are we!

I suspect we are going to get lots of draws a couple of frustrating loses and maybe a win or two to keep our heads above water.

Doubt it - but these predictions were submitted at the start of the season and follow a process - that’s just how the fixtures came out! Plus we have 5 points to play with AND the bottom 3 are on low points so may only need 34 or so to survive - the tracker is for 40... Dont think many are getting carried away which showed in most people’s reactions to today’s game (pleased with point despite taking the lead)!
