I've just realised how lob sided our fixtures are, playing Newcastle, Man Utd, Villa and Bournemouth really early and then the reverse fixture isn't till right at the end of the season

If nothing else it serves as a reminder of who we are and where we have come from. It is like something warm and comfortable that you cannot be parted with despite it being out of fashion.

Points are only "predicted" against teams that finished in the bottom half the previous season and the promoted clubs. Villa and Brentford finished 7th and 9th respectively.

They were in their Europe tracker - so with 6 points at present they're 1 under for Europe...

(being the point they would have expected at the AMEX)

The points listed are the points they'd 'expect' in a theoretical season where they were only targeting / forecast FORTY points.
