I think a lot of have considered we might. be, but I don't think that's the case.

We may never have a better chance to qualify for Europe...

- The best ever squad of players we have ever had, performing well before some are snatched away by big money.
- The under-performance of clubs expected to fair better: Chelsea, Spurs and, to a lesser extent now, Liverpool.

Next season could see the now-Big 7

So, should be fail to embark on a European Tour, it wouldn't be wrong to feel disappointed, not because we have any divine right for that, but because it's within our grasp right now, and we don't know when that will happen again.
Too bloody right. Sadly.

You have to worry RDZ maybe thinking the same thing as well if we miss out this season, and thinking if top 7 is possible next season.

Sorry don't want to pick holes in your brilliant trackers, but how come Villa went up 3 on your tracker, but Spurs only went down by 1? You could not have had both Villa losing and Spurs winning as the predicted outcomes
The tracker does not match the result for both teams. It is a rough guide as to where the easiest points are to be found during the season, to get to 40 points, and survival.
The tracker says zero points are required from a team that finished top half last season, (in this case Spurs), to reach 40 points, so Villa get 3 bonus points. Spurs as the away side require a point to a bottom half team, (as Villa were last season) which they failed to get, so lose 1 point.
Bottom half teams from last season is where the tracker requires any team to get points, win at home and draw away. Top half teams the tracker does not require any points being taken from, either home or away.

Two top half teams facing each other will require 0 points from the encounter, i.e. both lose, to match the tracker, two bottom half sides will require a draw for the away side, and a win for the home side, to match the tracker. Neither of these is outcomes is possible, but neither is every team reaching 40 points and no one being relegated.

Surely it will look the same as the last one but with a slightly higher orange line?

Sorry everyone, got back late on Sunday a little worse for wear! Then work ever since.

Here you go. Back to our record level above of 23, and a good 3 points over Europe. As others have said it is amazing how closely we have tracked that European tracker line this season. Hovering just above for most of the season.
