So as it turned out, we were safe when we drew with Palace and reached 35 points

I love the tracker and follow it regularly, but what amazes me is how few fixtures match the tracker for the expected result. The European tracker shows W15, D15, L8 but we have W18, D8, L12.
Lets talk about those 12 loses. Turn 4 of them into draws, 4 points. 15 draws, just 3 of them into wins would be 6 points.
10 in total putting us 4th.
Enjoy the moment, but never sit back.

A brief flirtation, but fell away and never recovered the gap despite a late rally.
"Fell away" ... it absolutely flatlined just after half season. IIRC the late season rally coincided with Caicedo claiming his "first pick on the team sheet" status.

As much as RDZ quite rightly gets the plaudits for taking the foundations Potter put in place and turning us into a far more consistently menacing team, these charts (last years and this years) also show that Potter had us on the move already; add the 9 points we dropped vs the tracker in that flat period and we finish on 60 points and 6th place last season.

The difference this season was in how RDZ just kept the momentum going, it's amazing how after every loss we immediately bounced back. Potter's 21-22 was a bit more stop-start - right there with the EU tracker until game 10, then a quiet 6 matches, a run of 7 that saw us closing the gap on EU again, then that flatline before closing out the season mega strong to charge into the top 10.

Indeed - some of the Potter bashers seem to forget that when he left us we were in 4th place in the table, with 13 points from 6 games and +6 on the tracker.

Potter was a knobhead, but a competent knobhead.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Note when the fixtures come out mid June I'm away so don't expect an immediate tracker for next season. I'll do it in July comfortably ahead of the new season! :)
I’m sorry but this is completely unacceptable. And in a season when we need a Progressing from Europa League Group Stage tracker as well. We’ll need you to re prioritise please Giraffe.

He's obviously not 'Europa League Ready'...
