I like this table. It correctly showed that Newcastle’s position was slightly artificial and now they are slipping back a bit.Full league table update after the weekends games.
4th now looking out of reach unless Spurs fall apart again once Conte is back?
5th-11th the finishing range - very tight.

Edit: ignore my previous post I’ve worked out my mistake.
Yep based on an average of the last team to qualify for Europe. No guarantee. Feels to me like it could be higher this season?I see that 60 pts is the target for Europe. Is this an average over the past few seasons or a genuine target number that has qualified over the past few years.
Because looking at our fixtures, 7 wins from 15 games or 22 pts from 45, is more than do-able.
I reckon we’ll find yesterday’s win will have put us safe at the end of the season. Mad with 15 games left !Two points from safety. Come on lads, one more push.
Well we’ve won 11 out of 23 (as close to half as possible) and we’re not top 4.Winning half our games would be top 4 form
I always thought the European tracker was a tongue in cheek, gallows humour type of thing. Not now I don't!Yep based on an average of the last team to qualify for Europe. No guarantee. Feels to me like it could be higher this season?
Not quite. In nearly every one of last 10 seasons, top 4 place requires more than 19 wins, sometimes as many as 23. The couple of seasons when 19 was sufficient were both very tight with 2-3 clubs involved. 10 wins probably enough, but that requires beating every team below us (including Chelsea), or, more likely, winning 2-3 against top 4 plus Newcastle. It is possible, but needs one hell of a run.Winning half our games would be top 4 form
