Has a date been set for Cardiff yet? Will be a big game and would be better to go into the game with some form behind us. Saturday is a massive game, not a must win as we can get points back from other games in theory, but wow 3 points would be good.

Cardiff away and Stains at home will be BIG games, win those and we stay up.

Brighton are currently 92nd out of 92 in the English football league form table.

They're the only club not to have won a game in 2019.

Cardiff are a home game as well. Hopefully the bounce (albeit a tragic bounce) they've had recently has now dissipated with those two big losses at home.

Of the last 6 games only 2 of those can be called even slightly embarrassing. Fulham (being 2 nil up and losing so badly not losing away) and Burnley. Most of our performances lately have been good (not good enough) but we are not rubbish.

Never in doubt was it?

A predicted point or more at Palace next week would be very welcome.

Think we'll end on 40 points, which I guess is what we're aiming for. Suspect 36 points might well be enough, which is only two more wins. UTA.

My only concern is that we are very unlikely to pick up any bonus points so are very reliant on winning those home matches!

Palace in good form
Wolves potentially the 'best of the rest'
Away to the top 6 is a right off for us
Man City

But also our bunnies: https://www.11v11.com/teams/brighto...singTeams/opposition/Wolverhampton Wanderers/

Given that they've beaten us four times in 29 league games over forty years, you could say that they're due a win.

Does anyone recall what else happened on the evening of 12 September 1989 whilst we were winning 4-2 at their place? n-n-n-n

We've beaten them every time we've played them in the top flight. We took our usual 6 points (or was it 4 back then?) off them in 1981-82 and sent them down - thus sealing our own death warrant for 1982-83 - without our usual 6 points off Wolves we were doomed!

We're very good at ending teams' long losing runs, aren't we..........

The worrying thing is we are +4 and our fans have been wetting the bed for weeks. We could clearly see when we would be most likely to pick up points throughout the season but still people have been fretting over an apparent slump in form. Our last 13 league games since we beat Palace with only 10 men have seen a supposed dip in form and apparently relegation candidate yet we have won exactly the amount of points the tracker suggested we would

I've been saying this for ages! People on here and Twatter foaming about the manager, formations, the players and everything else, without really taking a step back and realising that we are – let's face it – pretty much where we should be. Regardless of whether or not you believe in all that 'second-season syndrome' stuff, it was NEVER going to be easy and it's no surprise to me that we are fighting with the rest of them...
