Just spoke to a plucky supporting colleague of mine . His list of expected managers in that order:
1)Rafa B
2) Nigel Clough
3) Nigel Pearson

When you take a gamble on an inexperienced manager you need to double up the sheets and take the rough with the smooth for an eternity. You'd never get a knee jerk reaction like that in Sussex.
I don't suppose the average B'muff fan is young enough to have grasped the interent and chat forums so one would probably have to look in the Daily MAil letters page for supporter reaction ?
They appointed Jonathan Woodgate to the coaching staff last week, coincidental timing??
Wow! Seems harsh, there was a lot to try and fix there.
They've only just appointed Jonathan Woodgate as as assistant manager this week so this is strange timing. Unless Woodgate was brought in with the idea of taking over?
How long dif Jeff Wood last?
Frank Lampards Plucky Little Bournemouth anyone?
They have serious financial problems and it will be a massive struggle for any manager.
It is more likely to end as a big blot on a manager's CV than a positive.
I doubt if many managers other than those who will never get a big club again will want to touch it.
It's certainly more likely to be Woodgate rather than Lampard.
The Cowley brothers would be a good fit.
Not a bad shout.
Word is that 'Arry has the ear of the Russian owner there. I daresay he could pull a few strings behind the scenes to get his nephew FF installed.
I’m with you on this with John Terry to his right!
Tindall was simply an appalling appointment in the first place. I think the board just wanted continuity.
The standard of football has been pretty dire this season, probably a bit of individual quality getting us up to 2nd at one point but we were flattering to deceive. The last month or so it's literally fallen apart, absolutely clueless on the pitch and things were going backwards at an alarming rate.
Tindall never seemed to have the respect of the players when Howe was here and nothing appears to have changed.
I've no issues with him moving on.
Would Smug go back?
Just spoke to an old colleague, Bournemouth STH about this,?he says that they have to move on, they need a complete change.
Says you can never be as good second time round, I have to say, I think he has a point.
