Time for some Updated Predictions of the Final Table?

As things stand, it's more guesswork than a predictive science, but my updated table (after 46 games) now looks like this:-

90 Southampton
87 Reading
83 West Ham United
74 Birmingham City
73 Blackpool
72 Brighton & Hove Albion
72 Middlesbrough
70 Cardiff City
67 Hull City

I'm not very optimistic about the next three games, although I think we'll get a draw at Burnley). We'll probably slip a bit and then come good in the last three (Watford, Birmingham City and Barnsley).

Unfortunately this, but given my crap predictions in March I've still got every reason to be optimistic ... just not entirely sure where it'll come. We really needed all 3 today I think

LOL .. spooky ... not good reading though. Gus and Co will know nothing less than a win will do at Burnley

Yeah, I still think we can get something at West Ham, if their fans and the negativity can continue until we visit then hopefully we can get a result there!

I think we need 11 points from the 6 games and need to get to 74.

3 pts Burnley
0 pts Reading
1 pt West Ham
3 pts Watford
1 pt Birmingham
3 pts Barnsley

Think you're right about the 74 target but it's looking tough. Getting 11 points from those 6 games needs a big improvement in form, let's hope we've got it in the tanks

Got to say, think we have a real chance of a result at WH given their current form.

We will beat Reading at home, typical of the sort of game where we raise it a get a 2 or 3 nil win.

we just need to go for it, all out attack, blackpool/p'boro style. Start with Vicente, Lualua, buckley vokes and cms, we will score more than the opposition so it doesnt matter how many we concede. if we won every game 4-3 from now on, i wouldn't complain!

in all seriousness though, calderon deserves his place in the run-in squad, without him we could possibly be 4 points worse off.

Watford 3
Birmingham 1
Burnley 3

Giving us 11 points, so 74 in total so we could just sneak in - grabbing a point at West Ham though would be very good.

I like to think we could beat them by two or three, but with their form and our home form it's going to be 1-1 or a 1-0 either way.

No they wont. Their defence does too much sleeping for that. wont win the playoffs either. Saints/Reading and Brum looks the most likely outcome IMO.

Agree Saints/Reading .. or Reading/Saints actually

Think Brum and Blackpool are set to join WHam in play offs

leaves us Boro and Cardiff to fight over the remaining spot

That'll all change next week!
