1066 needs a ban for what he did, it was well out of order on TGC but it isn't really a freedom of speech issue. The others, well their racist shit is just laughable, they are fools. Perhaps we should just ignore them and hopefully they will go away.

I think the racist stuff is depressing. But it's knee jerk, unthought through, attention seeking, received opinions... and can be ignored by looking the other way (or using the ignore option). I think a ban would make NSC a better place though. And the freedom of speech argument from fascists always makes me smile.

Yeah send one of us a PM. I personally just see it as drivel and ignore it although maybe its time to consider acting upon it. Extremley lenient on NSC. I've just been warned on another forum for telling a Bristol City to f*** off (he said it was justice that we were relegated..)!!

it's like buying the guardian and finding that all the articles are from the daily mail!

thread after thread about muslims, bnp etc etc. ignoring it is fine, but why don't the mods simply close offending threads they aren't exactly hard to spot....

agreed, but where is the middle ground? soon as you start closing things people get shirty as they have "lost their freedom of speech"... thats the beauty of NSC, its loosely moderated!! Its a warm friendly pub with a cosy fire and a few twats!! OK so reel 'em in everynow and then but be warned, it may turn into something less than it has become...

Totally agree. Whilst I do ignore those threads they do have a tendency to "get in the way".
