Tickets for home games

What a nightmare this is.I want to buy tickets for me and friends who are not fans and looks like they have to actually register with the club before they can buy tickets...what is this shit about and as a result they will be missing out on casual football fans...why when we cant even get 6000 at a home game do we make it really difficult to sell tickets

register once, never have to do it again.

i had to register for my sons friend, whose surname or address I didn't know. They used my surname and address, took a few seconds. Good on them for being flexible, Job done.

I'm sure that there are advantages to this. Maybe knowing who goes to which match will help when tickets are scarce for a big match; maybe marketing will be more professional and targeted with this info.; maybe a regsitration will be needed for Falmer and electronic / bar code tickets etc. so they are rolling it out now? I don't know if any of these are true, but it's not exactly an onerous one-off task is it?

The trouble is you pretty much have to 'register' for anything you buy on line these days.

I've just bought tickets for a concert at the Dome and I had to register. It is a pain in the arse but it's life so the club is no different to other walks of life.

Yes it is. The difference being, you can rock up at the Dome hand over your hard earned and walk away with your tickets. No form filling in advance.

Difference is you dont need to register everyone that will be going to the event.I know online you have to register to buy anything but when i normally register for tickets to a show i dont then need to register everyone who i will be taking......it is actually ridiculous

You'll be shouted down by quite a few on here but I (and others) agree with you, I think the whole process of casual fans bying tickets is too beauracratic.

If we were playing Man U in the Cup then we'd all put up with it and jump through the hoops. But against Oldham for an arse end of the 3rd division fixture (and paying full price to boot)? Na, f*** it; life's too short.
