Paying the same amount but in 9 instalments rather than 12.

Hate to sound underwhelmed, but it’s not that spectacular, is it?

I’m not surprised by this supremely generous and wonderful gesture but that’s probably because we’ve got the best run club, CEO/Deputy Chairman and Owner in the land.

But we won't get any credit from the national media..................Man U will do it and get lauded for it, much like when they announced they were going to pay their staff until the end of the season..........at least a week after we did !

I’m a stressed out tit at the moment. My job is under threat and I can’t process anything. What would happen if I needed to cancel (gulp) my season ticket? Would the payment just stop straight away? Anyone done this before?

I can’t eve believe I’m asking this

Good point.

Holiday normally means the liability/cost is permanently no longer due, ever eg the new business rates holiday for the hospitality sector.

PB/TB actually mean just a deferral of payments, NOT a holiday.

The club give an example of £45 odd normal monthly payment after August rising to £62 odd.

No, you enter into a contract to pay the full amount.

What about accepting the club’s offer so there’s no cash outflow to you just yet? Then diarise to recheck the club’s position and reassess your finances in say June. Perhaps they’ll extend this further if the crisis deepens?

Why is it this bloody football club can't even get this wrong ..... a wonderful gesture at a time people need it most, given without demands. TB, PB & GP we absolutely adore this club and all it stands for*

* Other than not always having Chicken Balti pies ....

Another vote for the Chicken Balti pies here.

Excellent gesture from the club, hopefully I will not be in a position to need it, but if helps people keep their seat when the season starts again it is bloody fantastic. Well done the Albion.

Interesting that the issue of the possibility of not seeing the remainder of this seasons games is also covered with a pro rata refund for those missed deducted off next seasons payments

Agreed, the confirmation that we will get a refund on the games we do not see this season is fair and great news.
Applaud the club for the next season to defer the payment option.
Would have thought the players could have been part of this by contributing to the club shortfall in cash flow #Together

Other option is we finish this season in autumn and do a calendar year season next year - maybe being too pessimistic but can't see us all being fully back to normal for July to start pre season training for a normal season

Not sure how that impacts the season ticket payment holiday that's on offer but is a possibility format wise

we could have a summer break - world cup is due in the winter following - so end season before that starts in November

A very decent gesture by the club that will help alleviate peoples finances in the short term.

However 3 months on and some may still be in the position where personal finances dictate that they cannot justify £60+ for their season ticket payments on the readjusted terms.

Will the club give supporters the option to cancel their 20/21 season tickets completely and release them to supporters on the waiting list?
