We all have a whinge every now and then and often fear the worst but hopefully this shuts up a few of the relentlessly negative posters who appear when the team sheet comes out to tell us all how their team would do so much better, shut up when we score and reappear when we concede. We all know who they are and we know they'll be back as soon as we concede our first goal next season.

Just celebrate the success FFS and look forward to next season. Loads of youth, Lallana looks like joining to add some wise experience and Potter with a learning season under his belt.

These are very good times, as a former manager might say.

I dunno, what would the match day thread be without a few moans about the team sheet?

Yes - me.

I predicted us to finish 16th. We finished 15th.

Humble pie now being eaten - and washed down with a few beers.

Apologies to all for getting it so wrong.

I'll stand up and admit that during lockdown and prior to the restart I thought we would go down. But I NEVER wanted us to go down.

I am happy to admit I was wrong.

I agree with previous comments, everyone entitled to an opinion but back the team and the manager. Back the board too!

Indeed. TSB. Whatever happened to that feller? I quite liked his posts up until the CH/Potter wars but he really lost his shit

I think we all had our moments when we feared we were going to go. During lockdown was tough, but I’m chuffed we came out and battled so well. I think the OP is more talking about the likes of Spence who vocally criticised everything and said we were going down time and time again - it’s one thing voicing an opinion or prediction, but another thing saying it so convincingly and constantly!

Exactly , Some on here would have been "Giving it Large", if we had been relegated (or even came close to it ) :albion2:

I remember a few giving it the ‘not better than last season’ etc even recently who will hope their comments aren’t bounced now we got 41 points... May have been that ‘we’re no better off this season than last’ thread that was rather cluelessly put up, without taking into account our form and points gain at the back end of last season!

Please step forward, you’re most welcome to a lovely, chewy bit of gristle.

Just to recap, since the restart of the season our boys have done rather well - P9 W3 D3 L3 Points 12

The three defeats were against the (now) top three teams in the League.

We have just beaten our bogey side, away, for the first time in eight years.

So for those of you naysayers who thought we were doomed, thought the team lightweight, thought Potter was out of his depth, thought the tactics all wrong, and any other thing you objected to, well enjoy your ‘Umbles.

Bon Appetit! :drink:

Yep, these people need to be called out

I’m guessing TSB has now signed up at the Bristol City forums! He was clearly more a fan of Hughton rather than the Albion.

Correct. This thread is basically calling out 2 people.

One is a Hughton fan, doesn’t support us.
The other, spence, whilst mostly sincere, I suspect is a fellow who enjoys a bit of a wind up.

The ethos of this topic is better served aiming at those outside the NSC.
