Exactly this. We spent £50m + last year. This we have have fewer gaps in the squad and more money to play with. I’d be surprised if we don’t spend something like that on one player this summer.

I suspect you're probably right, but he has said he wants to play in the PL. So it's PL vs CL, and the latter's more likely to swing it.

Actually, I edited my post as the tweet was misleading, it implied he was having a medical but the link was about several players, one of which, a defender, was having the medical.
