Well, not exactly. Some are saying that the governments acknowledgment that it WILL cause some damage to the environment has left the door wide open for an appeal. I just think its a fairly obvious point for the NIMBYs to try to jump all over when really its gone without saying all along - the entire Public Inquiry was to PROVE that the benefits of the stadium outweigh any damage done to the environment. Theres nothing NEW for them to latch onto there.Having taken it all into account, the benefits outweigh the negatives, end of.

They'll have to find something better than THAT to launch an appeal I reckons.
