would be alot better if you could register for it and buy your membership on it without having to ring up the ticket office. And would save us all alot of hassle. Shame Ken Brown is an idiot though

KEN BROWN OUT! Who's with me?

Sigh! It would be easier if you bought your membership at the start of the season.

No you aren't - you are saying you have to ring up the ticket office up to buy membership which you don't.

Ooh look, the 137th thread about tickets/membership etc.

Small time supporters, small time club.

It's only Villa FFS.

Get off your high horse and accept that some fans can't afford to go to all the games. Couple of my mates are students in other parts of the country and don't have the time due to having to work weekend part-time jobs or money to go all the time. There are many legitimate reasons why fans don't go appart from not caring enough. You need to get real sonny Jim

 How dare the club publish a clear priority ticketing system & not tell your mates to get membership.

To be fair that is a good point. I'm sure there's probably a reason, but if you were able to sign up to memberships without physically printing off a piece of paper and transporting it to brighton it would be easier for everyone.

It's not really though is it. Because worrying about how long it takes to become a member is only an issue since ticketing for the Villa game. Normally you wouldn't care if it took a month. Also there was nearly a week between the draw & the tickets going on sale to get a membership instead of leaving it until the ticket office are busy with other things.

Don't put words in my mouth

No need, you've posted in quite clearly there for yourself.

You don't have to join over the phone or take the form in by hand.

There is something called the postal system.

The only reason they were allowing this was to ensure people could join the scheme if they wanted in the short period between the tickets being announced and put on sale.

I have to fill in so many forms recently and apply a physical signature that the process of joining an Albion membership scheme is very very easy in comparison.

The club can't be blamed if people hadn't got round to doing it time.

In fact the club should be applauded for allowing people to join (even today) and ensure that everyone who wants a ticket get's one - unless the situation had changed again.

1. I don't go to all the games either
2. It has nothing to do with 'caring'
3. Why couldn't they post a letter from elsewhere in the country, even students can afford stamps. It worked for me at the START of the season as opposed to being a JCL.

He does have a point.

I didn't have enough in my account, so was using girlfriend's Visa Electron. That didn't want to know the card type. Phoned my brother to use his, his Maestro was declined so tried his Solo, didn't want to know the card type again. Tried it as Maestro again, declined (well it would as its not Maestro).

System crashed and I got thrown out. An hour later, manage to get back in. Double checked that my brother gave me correct details, still no joy. Tried girlfriend's Electron again, still no joy.

Phoned my mother who gave me details for a Visa DEBIT, didn't want to know card type (Starting to get extremely wound up by now). As she's trying to find her Maestro card I try Visa DEBIT card as Visa, goes back to main menu, select tickets again and said:

•A maximum of 1 tickets for Aston Villa V BHAFC can be purchased. Customer 7000xxxx currently has 2 currently purchased or booked for Aston Villa V BHAFC. for each member I was trying to buy for.
