Yes they can. 2/3 lines is a good maximum I think.

Saw you in the distance mincing down the seafront earlier. Was with Nibble, pointed you out and said there is the biggest crimper on NSC. He said he thought as much.

Agreed, it's much harder to scroll down and read the text whhen you've got pictures in the way. I'm going to turn them off I think

I use the 'next tread' quite often and this doesn't seem to have that at the top of the page so have to scroll through on each tread.

Little things confuse me, i'm too old for change. It's why I left the board so many years ago & I hope I get used to it again soon, seeing as I've not long come back.
