Every where you go in the countryside the grass verges are lush green, Arlington reservoir is full to the brim Alfriston has flood warning signs up,are the water companies taking the piss.Bonuses should not have been paid the money should have been used to repair the miles and miles of leaking pipework, and to install new pipework to bring water from the north to the south along with more reservoirs, seeing as consecutive governments insist on building all the housing this country needs down here in the south , which incidently is the real problem not lack of rainfall.:rant::albion2:

There was a Sky report from Ardingly reservoir a couple of days ago, and it most certainly was NOT anywhere near full.

I think they're being naughty and trying to save water now so there's not a lack for the tourists coming to the sodding Olympics. South-east after all... but I'm just cynical.

How in God's name has The Government's policy of allowing housing to be built got anything to do with the distinct lack of rainfall?

There is no lack of rainfall, just more people in the south every year drawing water from a system that needs maintaining and updating

we can make it one , are you happy with his performance this season i think he is not good enough for this division,Gus made a mistake but that is just my opinoin:D

Not happy with his performances but equally not happy with the team not doing more to play to his strengths. Having said that, he was in the Peterborough side that played to his strengths a couple of seasons ago in the Championship - and they got relegated! It is frustrating for all parties especially as we saw in the Burnley home game flashes of what he could do with the service he thrives on.

I would love it if he scored 6 goals between now and the end of the season but don`t think he will score even 1,if the team was set up to play around him we would not be where we are, as relying on one man for the goals is not going to win many games either.imho

There IS a lack of rainfall. Have you been residing on Pluto for the last year or so? That said, I fully agree that the inadequate, leaking infrastructure needs plenty wonga spent on it: but seemingly the powers-that-be have already spunked any funds on a really useful war or two during the last decade.

Ardingly and Arlington are different reservoirs. Australia also starts with an 'A'.

You're right there, I'm reaallly not on the ball today.

I don't mind the hosepipe ban to be honest. There are plenty of ways round it, and besides, if the wasn't a ban in force now, then we may be facing even bigger problems this summer. Then we'd be blaming the water companies even more for allowing things to get worse.
