Adrie, I have no idea who you are, but you seem to do an awful lot of soul searching and justification of your (unusual?) actions/opinions on here. Maybe think about not doing that quite so often. Most posters will lay into you. And based on your posts alone, regardless of what your like as a person, you deserve it. People don't know your personal circumstances, they'll just call you an idiot. Which is harsh, but you've got to expect that if you're going to post rants like that on a forum.
Just think for an extra 2 minutes about whether you REALLY want to start a thread. Will you get anything out of it? Will it be interesting to other people? Is what you're saying correct?
We all post without thinking sometimes, but I just get the feeling that you come on here in search of some sort of support. Which, if you type like that, you won't get.
This place has a fantastic number of people willing to help you out just because you're a Brighton fan. Use it. Post a thread asking for advice and you'll be flooded with helpful tips. Post a rant with a million spelling mistakes claiming how you've been wronged and it's all their fault won't get you any sympathy or help.
Good luck in your search for a job, read the job descriptions a bit more carefully and remember, nobody owes you a job. It's a pain in the arse recruiting someone. You have to make it easy for people to employ you. Bite your tongue for 30 seconds at an interview and you could end up with a job at the end of it.

We encourage healthy debate, we encourage heavy discussion, but the minute it turns into name calling, history shows what happens, it disintegrates into playground stuff with every one jumping on board, invariably the only way to stop that is by closing the thread, which we don't want to do.
I might add once that happens he amount of reported posts / PMs we have to deal with are to many!
Can I also point out, Bozza has been voicing his opinion about "name calling and insult throwing" for a very long time now, most of you on this thread have been about long enough to have known that, those that don't know or don't remember, well I have just done you a favour in letting you know

I can sympathise with Adies work grievances.
This morning my allocated parking space was taken so I had to park my Jag 2 spaces away from the building. This meant I had to get my overcoat slightly damp but thankfully my new suit was bone dry. I soon arrived into my office to find that my P.A was off for the day so I had to put up with an intern making me my morning skinny latte. As if it couldn't get any worse, she then brought me the wrong type of smoked salmon to compliment my eggs, which, I have to admit, she did an OK job on.
All in all, this has been a truly hellish morning.

I have had about 10 job interviews since finishing university, often they have not be overly enjoyable, but as standard preparation for a job interview, you should research the company, the role, key terms in the job description. You would think about your own experience relevant to the role.
Clearly this is was not the case in this instance. A matchday assistant to be seems very much to be an entry level position. Therefore I would assume cleaning to be a large part of the job with out even reading the description.
Surely a stewarding job would be advertised as such. And are stewards not required to be licensed? (genuine inquiry).

No - not generally. At the Albion response stewards have to have the SIA badge ( or whatever it's now called ) and all stewards are expected to work towards NVQ qualifications ( can't remember what level ).

Just been on the club wesbite and they are advertising for Math Day Stewards now, so as long as you were polite and didn't burn any bridges it may be worth applying for that if it's what you originally thought you were applying for.
