Just been on the club wesbite and they are advertising for Math Day Stewards now, so as long as you were polite and didn't burn any bridges it may be worth applying for that if it's what you originally thought you were applying for.

Think their job will be to tell us the difference between tickets sold and the actual attendees, or to arbitrate between punter and food/drink staff about the correct e-cash discount to apply?

I'll get my coat...

Let's just hope he didn't start a reactionary thread on the club's biggest internet forum criticising the club and their staff for their handling of the interview process.

That wouldn't go down well.

Nobody would be that silly.

Thanks Greens :(
I introduced myself to you at an away match to say nothing more than "hello", and "are you enjoying the match"', and your response was to initially stare through me, then turn your back away and start talking to someone else in a very loud voice.

Is this you being 'nice'?

Don't take it personally EP. I daresay he might be a Social Phobic, hence NSC's popularity :)

:lolol:

I love how a simple spelling mistake can make people so happy!

Obviously if anyone from the club sees this thread and there is more than one Adrie that applies they probably would put two and two together (I guess this would be the Math Day Stewards job) and not interview him.

Yes, indeed. Is it even remotely possible that some who did so, did it on purpose, knowing the club will likely get to know?

What a ridiculous suggestion. Besides, I imagine he was a stand out candidate and it wouldn't take much to work out who it was from the opening post.

So was it a pedestal or a pedal stool

Pedal Stool

A word which can be confused with pedestal, the term used for lusting over women. Made popular by Jen from The IT Crowd.
Jen: You know, a pedal stool.
Roy: What? A pedal... stool!?! The word is pedestal!

Sorry, just read this.

I can sympathise with Adies work grievances.

This morning my allocated parking space was taken so I had to park my Jag 2 spaces away from the building. This meant I had to get my overcoat slightly damp but thankfully my new suit was bone dry. I soon arrived into my office to find that my P.A was off for the day so I had to put up with an intern making me my morning skinny latte. As if it couldn't get any worse, she then brought me the wrong type of smoked salmon to compliment my eggs, which, I have to admit, she did an OK job on.

All in all, this has been a truly hellish morning.

Adrie, never work here. That's my advice to you.

A salmon complimenting your eggs........
