You haven't quite got the hang of this thread or NSC yet, have you? Could I suggest www.mumsnet.com as a suitable alternative?
Kirsty and Phil on C4 - if I ever saw either of them in real life I would not be responsible for my actions
Genuine question, for all those putting up with shite TV that the OH wants to watch, does she insist you watch with her, or can you not be arsed to just get up and do something else in another room or go to the pub ?
Don't any of these ladies enjoy these gigs/programmes/whatever it is with like-minded mates (or even, as is occasionally so in my other half's case, on her own) rather than insisting on taking somebody who'd rather be anywhere else? I really don't understand that.

In fact, she's given up more for me. For my birthday she once bought tickets for the James Taylore Quartet and once for the Round the Horne show, neither of which were her thing but she came along with me
Hi All,
Another slow news day....
I have had to bite the bullet and booked tickets for the Mrs to go and see Ricky Martin in concert! Yes, Ricky Martin!!
I know I didn't have to do this but she is a big fan and is going to love the show. Me ....not so much.
Sitting here pondering how i'll get through the 2 hours of utter dross, I was wondering, what have others had to endure or sit through to ensure their other half is happy??
