Up the Albion!
This might be a bit controversial, but as the 15 military personel return home I must admit that I'm a bit embarrassed by the whole episode.
I don't like the way they were taken so easily. I don't like seeing them seeming so relaxed & smiling whilst having food & drinks served to them. I don't like the way they stood & "admitted" to wrongdoing. I didn't like seeing them shaking hands with the Iranian president & thanking him for his kindness! It's just embarrassing, in my opinion of course.
All headline news while more of our troops die in Iraq; (probably a whole column inch somewhere tomorrow).
If we weren't a joke in the eyes of some countries before this; we bloody are now.
