Not really. Roberto himself has said that we need a replacement for Moises.
He only left a couple of days ago ffs! Get a grip.

In all seriousness, we are looking very light in several positions so hopefully there will be some movement soon.

It would be very good to get a DM replacement for Caicedo, in addition to Dahoud, wee Billy, Pascal and Alzate and also additional cover for Pervis in addition to Solly and Milner. And that's completely discounting any 'youngsters'.

I'm wondering what the 'several' are

re: Caicedo replacement. - not sure anyone doubts one is either in the pipeline or one is needed. as for whether Albion have been quick enough.

It took us 11 days between Cucurella going to Chelsea and singing Estupinan from Villareal. - his like for like replacement. That turned out alright I guess.

So far. Its 3 days since Caicedo signed for Chelsea.

Sage advice.

Too late for this poor guy though.

Yes, agree. The fact that there are no rumours flying around suggests we are making progress.
I’d think that we are probably looking at three.
Balepa, Florentino D, and the lad from RB Liepzig.

It feels very un-Brighton like to not be panicking about our striking options.

Always thought there wouldn't be much incoming, after Pedro, Milner amd Dahoud came in early. Yes. we've lost Mac and Moises (which we expected) - but now we seem to be reducing the squad. Undav, Sarmiento and Ayari were all first team players last season (OK, not regulars, but all played some minutes) and now it looks as if Buonanotte (and Moran) might be next on the bus.
I expected some of the youngsters - Samuels, Peupion, Moran for example - to go on loan, but not so much players with PL experience. I'm guessing the club must have some plans to get a body or two in - so I don't expect this thread to be appropriate every day until 1st. September!

Seeing this thread pop up towards the end of every transfer window is like welcoming back an old friend.
I wonder if Bladders knew what he was starting 🤣🤣

The power of Newcastles team will show us up.

West Ham I'd say 50/50
A few quotes copied from the Wolves thread pre-match if it helps

Wolves performance but lack of points at old Trafford concerns me . They are in a new manager bounce and a win will come . Our cm also concerns me .
I would take a draw today

Tough away game, although we always seem to have the hex over Wolves. Our midfield is a work in progress, but I'm hoping our quality up front will see us win this. Words I thought I'd never write.

Wolves are much better than most pundits have given them credit for. A tough afternoon awaits

Wolves looked very strong running through the centre against Man Utd. As we don’t have one single ball winning midfielder in our squad at the moment, I think we’ll struggle with this. We do have a lot of attacking threat though so there should be goals in this.

It's got nil-all written all over it

I'm a bit worried about this one. Our squad looks good at the moment but in the starting eleven, the drop in quality in central midfield without Mac and Moises is stark and it wasn't really tested against Luton. Wolves midfield dominated United so we'll have to be at our best to get something today.

This is going to be a tough game chaps. Don't feel too downhearted if we don't come away with 3 points today.

Weakish team, strong bench.

.....etc :lolol:

BUT, people's concerns were half correct. They strolled through our midfield and for one of the first times under RDZ had as many shots as us.
You wouldn't want to concede 16 shots against Isak and Wilson.
