From the Argus on Wednesday. The on-loan Aussie is reported to be close to a £5 million move to the Amex although a well-placed source has told The Argus “nothing (has been) done at this time”. Well that was proved not to be the case 48 hours later.. I’d suggest whatever comes from the ‘we’ll placed Source’ is the complete opposite of what is actually going on.

Would love us to sign a central midfielder like this but the CF is the key signing. I hope it's on the cards but starting to fear there isn't one that fits the bill available at a price the club is willing to pay

My mate (Sparta fan who hates Slavia) says he is decent. Defensive rather than creative midfielder
£20 million for Soucek, and it looks like we may well be trying to get him.
Obviously we would start to become a bit top heavy with central midfielders - and the likes of Propper or Bissouma could bring in a significant fee to offset the cost either this window or in the summer.
