By Jove...a bloody rumour has surfaced...probably shite but here goes...Phillip Billing... more likely off to Eddie's mob though!

Sounds possible. We have signed players from relegated clubs over the last few years

Gross and Andone to name but two.

Whatever we are doing we need to get a move on as we are moving into very worrying territory now. We were piss poor last season and if we had so many brilliant kids why were they not played? Its very easy to blame CH etc but the PL is a brutal division and standing still is effectively going backwards. As thing stand we are WORSE than last season as a squad, easy to play against and most pundits nailed on favourites for relegation. It is fair to say that the next 13 days are critical to where this club will be in the years to come.. This is not a case of bedwetting, but a case of fact and we either stand up and be counted or we are this seasons Huddersfield.

The TB loyalists believe that Locadia, Montoya, Propper and Jahanbakhsh, under a new coach, are going to yield us a load of PL wins and a mid-table finish.

Everyone else is concerned that we will continue to get outclassed in matches and be relegated.

Two or three major signings will swing a whole load of us into the optimistic category.

Agree with you, hope the club does as well

A mid table finish would come about with 4 extra wins, not exactly a 'load'.

Yep totally agree, I should imagine fans of Watford (no signings), Bournemouth (1) and Palace (1 third choice keeper and Ayew) are also saying the same thing. What I'm getting at is that thankfully we're not in this boat alone.

I still have faith in the club to get this right, otherwise we're down.

Out of our ‘winnable’ matches, that’s not an easy task. Also considering that (even CH admitted it) that Newcastle, West Ham and Wolves outplayed us last season.

Something significant needs to change in a one-paced, uncreative first team.

They have a better squad base in the first place, all creating for fun with pace in midfield. Only tinkering is required, in the same way that ManC and Liverpool haven’t needed many new faces this window.

True, but what about Norwich? They have brought unknowns really and apparently Farke has said they won't be signing anyone else in this window!

With Sheff Utd they’re doing what we did in summer 2017 and 2018. Seems to be the norm, unless you find another (FFP compliant?????) £100m down the sofa like Villa.

Brighton, Burnley, Sheff Utd and Norwich are shirley favourites for the drop, we all seem to shop at a lower level.
