Rather than sign a striker for a fortune who would not get into our first team, why not switch to 4-4-2 and go for it like we did last season?

I would much rather we stayed up/went down fighting rather than wasted TB's money paying for a striker with a couldn't care less attitude, joining us just for the money (e.g Lewis "Money" Grabban, Alex " "M25" Pritchard or Moussa "I'm too big for you" Dembele).

Then again, if we could sign a striker better than Murray or Hemed on terms that TB can afford, why not?,

I hope that we've had a scout watched Alfred Finnbogason a few times. Been in the Bundesliga with Augsburg for the last couple of seasons. 11 goals in 16 appearances so far this season. Tall, strong, good in the air and knows where the goal is. Also wouldn't expect he'll either cost too much to buy or pay in wages.

It is common knowledge that BHA use a wage structure with an estimated maximum of approximately 40,000 per week. While many fans support this approach as a way to ensure the financial security of the club, it is not without problems. It is less likely than a cap on the total cost of salaries to force management to decide whether a player is worth a particular salary. This problem is evident when the club attempts to recruit a striker, because the player or their agent know the market, and a striker on the team earning the club’s maximum wage is not capable of scoring the expected number of goals. Using a cap, enables to club to pay a higher salary, because players less capable of performing at the level expected would be paid significantly less. Given the amount of data available on player performance these decisions would not be that difficult.

5. We should be incredibly happy with what we have. The work "Chris and the team" have done is nothing short of exceptional, we will look to build in the summer but transfer windows are never simple things etc. etc. ETC.
