Hmmm, we're looking for a proven young striker, and Harry Kane has been dropped to the Spurs bench.

Coincidence? I don't think so.

I see Huddersfield have signed a defender on loan from Monaco , yet again they are doing their business early unlike us

As a matter of fact, it is! Although, it’s like the poster was trying to suggest something about our recruitment efforts by “just saying”.

Our next 6 league games more or less decide whether we stay up I would say. So having a new striker as early as possible would be handy. Late in the window plus bedding in time may be too late.

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, I haven't seen it, its taken from Gazeta el Sud, which I think is a Romanian Newspaper.
Nothing new, except that they seem to think we have dropped our offer by €8 million since the summer.

http://www.gds.ro/Sport/2017-12-28/fotbal-florin-andone-ar-putea-trece-la-brighton/

Spanish team Deportivo La Coruna puts the transfer list on Florin Andone (photo)following the struggle with Arribas, from a training session in November, disagreeing with other outings in the decoration of the Romanian striker. For our international, the English at Brighton & Hove Albion, who wanted it last summer and then offered 18 million euros, expressed interest. The new offer of the British fell considerably this winter, eight million less than the amount proposed in August, and that's because Andone's performance in LaLiga was not good. This season, Florin Andone scored only three goals in La Liga in 13 appearances (six as title). In the last season, the player from Botoşani managed 12 goals in 37 games (32 as a holder). Deportivo is expecting the same offer last month,

Florin Andone (24) is in Depor since 2016, with a contract valid until June 30, 2021, being valued by specialist sites at just four million euros.

Deportivo to Coruna ranks 18th in LaLiga (relegable), while Brighton is 12 in the Premier League.

Well he/ she is. Everyone slated Huddersfield for doing early business in August, with their weaker squad, yet they are still ahead of us.

Fantastic.

By scoring 1 more goal than us and having 1 more point.
