Bony going back to Swansea
We are getting left horribly behind. Sad.
We would have zero chance of signing Bony because a) they have several years of PL money behind them and, less importantly, b) he knows the club.

Take the talk with Deportivo over Andone for example - we've allegedly already bid £17m but they want more. Do you really think TB/PB will risk putting anything out there that might give Deportivo a reason to think they can get away with upping their asking price by another million or five? Of course they're not.
No, Deportivo probably aren't listening to Talksport - but TB/PB realise that anything they say on Talksport might well get picked up by Sky etc. If they said "we need a striker and realise we'll just have to pay whatever it takes" and that made it onto Sky Sports News, then yes I reckon Deportivo would hear it.
I get that but we don't have strikers anywhere near as good as that ?
I'm not stressing about the Naylor tweet. He explicitly stated that we weren't in for Schelotto and we've just signed him. #itk
Also, if we sign one striker and get another on loan, he can still say he was right.
Isn't it's time we went for Shane long yet ;-)

They don't have that past income in the bank - just like everyone else except $$$$ Arsenal, Swansea spent it all as they received it.
