Yep just saw this rumour on Sky Sports too, could do a job!
ZAHAHAHAHAH Is on 60k a week? Jeez
There might be zero chances of us singing anyone.
But £70m chances of Newcastle landing their catches:-
Rafael Benitez will meet Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley next week to discuss how to move forward following the club's return to the Premier League. The Spaniard is likely to be offered a transfer budget of around £70m. (Daily Telegraph)
I think that 70 mil spent wisely is more than enough.
But Benitez can't spend wisely, he needs £70m to waste and a further £70m to cover the cracks.
It'll end in tears.

He spent well enough putting together an almost entirely new team to get out of the Championship at the first attempt. But Benitez can't spend wisely, he needs £70m to waste and a further £70m to cover the cracks.

No he didn't.He spent well enough putting together an almost entirely new team to get out of the Championship at the first attempt.

The one significant fact in that statement is that he achieved promotion, which was his sole aim for this season. Nobody is denying that he spent a lot, but his spending resulted in exactly what he set out to do = success. No he didn't.
He spent x times more than anybody else, over paying for a team to guarantee promotion which he did with 1 game to go.
