What really fucks me off is the constant ABUSE people direct towards Murray and Thomson. Especially Murray. Our most expensive player in 25 years and he gets scathed every time he doesn't score. How can that be good for a player and his confidence? f***ing HELL WHY CAN'T PEOPLE SUPPORT THE MAN!

I went to the match today and frankly it was shocking. However it was a day out in Brighton with Papa Lazarou and his son involving cooked breakfast and beer, which was very agreeable. This evening I got a lift to Portsmouth to watch the frankly wonderful Glasvegas.

The reason I mention this is not because I think anyone has much interest in my day but I made the decision to come on watch Brighton play because I thought it would be a good day out. The day I stop thinking it will be (on balance) a good day out is the day I stop going.

My point is that if you really do find it that upsetting, stop going and stop reading NSC.

I liked it cos it kind of reminded me of why I f***ing hate football fans these days. Opinionated idiots who seem to think they know more about the game than professionals who've been doing it all their working life. Sure we all like/dislike certain players, have a fondness for certain types of play and get elated/depressed over wins/victories. Yes WW and TCB post lots of negative things on here, but is it really worth a ban? I dont agree with a lot of their opinions on players, but I respect their opinions as I see them at pretty much every game home and away. It is better than slagging off a player or saying a player played amazing because they watched the game on teletext and listened to the game on radio.

People say there is an ignore button, so why not use it?

I dont think there was a need for any banning, but its been done now.

Whilst the above is obviously very much tongue in cheek, the vast amout of members do not realise how hard it is being a moderator, the abuse comes thick and fast, as do the complaints about many threads / posts, lately everytime i have opened up my e mail box i have had loads of "Reported Posts" ofton about many differant threads / posts

One person reads something they find offensive, another will read it and see little or nothing wrong in it, so when there are varied opinions about a subject / issue, it is ofton difficult to deal with, and as with any decision made, you will always upset /annoy someone, this i have quite obviously found out.

Personally, any decision i have made i will stand by, rightly or wrongly, i have received very harsh critisim / comments from some members, some of which is a very bannable offence, I have chosen not to react to it, my decision, at the end of the day this is a MESSAGEBOARD, but a messageboard which is regulated and in my opinion it is regulated to a very high standard, hence why it is extremely popular.

Every messageboard gets it's idiots, and in all fairness they get dealt with as and when

People do want to bear one thing in mind, what one person sees as wrong, alot of others will not see it that way.

Oh and just for your information, my Uncle (who died recently) was German, so i accept all comments of "Nazi Mod"

I would also like to add, I have actually met quite a few of the regular posters on here, and i would like to think that the ones who have met me will say i am not such a bad bastard after all ............................(awaits comments)
