One thing they should have changed is the format when a traitor gets banished. This series (as in the first two) we see a new recruit to the traitors and no murder. It signposts that there's a new traitor.

I think they should have said: new traitor but someone is still murdered or two new traitors - that would lay a false trail.

Mind you, I also thought that they should have kicked off with two or four traitors, just to mix things up a bit. Two with a third recruited after a few episodes would have been interesting.

Unlike others, I think recruiting last night was the right move. They have no idea who has the other shield. They have an opportunity to recruit and leave everyone unsure whether a recruitment was a) offered, b) accepted, or c) if a murder was attempted by blocked by a shield.

I'd like to see whoever they've tried to recruit turn them down, though.

For me, Minah has managed the early game as a traitor almost perfectly. There's a risk she might go the "Paul" route (who also managed the early game last season very well) though and get cocky from the early success. Somehow Linda has managed to fall off the radar of the faithfuls (I remain flabbergasted how... the only one they've actually had genuine, solid evidence on and they've discarded it after banishing a couple of faithfuls instead of her!). It is amusing seeing Linda just bumble her way through.

Yeah, that baffled me. She was in the firing line for the first episode and is now forgotten as a possible traitor.

But that doesn't help Linda and Minah win. They're better off as a pair, being loyal to each other for as long as possible. Murder someone, and watch someone get banished the next day (it won't be them), then murder another, and that's 3 more gone, with the muppet show none the wiser.

If they bring in someone that no one would suspect, then they give too much power to that person, who doesn't owe them loyalty.
If, on the other hand, they bring in a sacrificial lamb, then they're asking to be outed.

If I was Freddie, for example, and brought in the then get banished, I would make it very clear that I was a faithful who had never murdered anyone, and only just recruited.

Agreed.

That happens every season. People convinced it's A or B, so they banish A, then completely forget about B.

Another thing they seem to be missing is that Armani claimed to be 100% sure Kas was a faithful. Only the Sith deal in absolutes, and she was indeed a traitor. But Linda was also 100% sure Kas was a faithful. Hello, hello, anybody home? Think Mcfly, think.

Minah playing a fantastic game (minus the botched Anna recruitment - should of been one of the newbies) but Linda is a ticking time bomb and an absolutely terrible actor - amazed she got this far.

Recruitment is definitely risky right now, keep going as a 2 for as long as possible is probably the play.

I think Jake still knows but biding his time to convince others.

If I was Linda, I'd definitely have murdered him tonight. He's not been going on about her enough for her to get blamed, but he's not forgotten about her and will be on her case again.
