More, as I would with any prospective candidate. I find it ironic that as NSC’s resident Corbyn lapdog that you bothered to post on this thread. This idiot attempts to steal valour, whereas Corbyn actively associated with people who promoted/involved the killing of British servicemen.

Once again there's deflection.... its all the Tories have... and it won't work

That shows what a brilliant move it was by May to mention the landing cards and the order to destroy them coming from Labour. She had to backtrack on it within a couple of hours but by then, the damage had been done and her soundbite was on the news.

The issue has nothing to do with Labour or previous Tory governments, it's entirely of May's making, yet she's superbly deflected blame.

Yep, she played Corbyn superbly.

Not sure why the 'Matt Lynch Tory Candidate' thread has been merged with this one. It's got nothing to do with the Windrush situation.

I agree.

Lynch is claiming to be a war hero, he's been called out and has gone to ground.

Hiding it on the windrush thread makes it look like someone is trying to obscure it...why?

The decision to destroy the landing cards for Windrush migrants was taken under Labour, former home secretary Alan Johnson has said.

Asked if he knew about the 2009 decision, he told the BBC: "No, it was an administrative decision taken by the UK Border Agency."

Did you merge the Matt Lynch thread with this by any chance?

There's a Tory Councillor in Hastings standing on Thursday been suspended for saying he'd served in The Falklands with 2 Para on his election literature, because unfortunately for him nobody from 2 Para could actually remember him.:lolol:

They've removed him from the Hastings & Rye Conservative website, but he can't be removed from the ballet paper, so he still stands and if he were to win he's elected.

Not the first Conservative liar from Hastings exposed this week - they obviously can't be trusted.

I didn’t merge it

So ask the Mods on that one

Seems a mod has an agenda about the Government and anyone linked with it

There were already several posts in this thread about it.

It is usual on NSC to try and keep discussions together in one place... particularly political ones... which some/many would rather see removed from the Big Board altogether.

So it was you who merged the threads then? Sounds about right.

Splatterings of comments on a thread about unrelated topics occurs all the time - that doesn't mean you should merge threads which are dedicated to two completely different topics.

Titanic. That's not moderating, that's scheming.

The Matt Lynch discussion may have been mentioned on this thread, but the individual thread on it, started by someone who has served in HM Forces, appeared to be receiving comments from other NSC'ers who've also served in HM Forces and, political views aside, the discussion and views were more about someone claiming to have served in The Paras in The Falklands, when they haven't.

Why did you and 7 others post about it on this thread then? before the new thead was started this morning.

#growup

No they didn't. It's hard to tell what's what now you merged the threads, but only a couple of people made reference to the specific case of Matt Lynch on this thread.

The other Tory campaigns are unrelated to that particular discussion, which is why there was a thread dedicated to it.

Grow up? The irony...

It isn't hard... just look at the posts before this one.
