No they won't, they obviously won't. Making signings just for the sake of it (that is to say just to assuage people who are panicking because it's been a couple of weeks since the last signing and they're bored) is not a good tactic.

It would be nice if Messi turned up having got bored at Barca (ok he is more of an offensive midfielder and he'd have to fight for his place with Harley of course).
My heart also says 'Zamora!' although my fear is his fitness is a bit suspect these days but ought to be more than sharp enough for the Championship.
In reality I would be happy with Rhodes or McCormack (or both) but suspect they are now looking for Premiership sized deals that are beyond our budget.
In the absence of other signings the Murray suggestion is growing on me too but smacks of desperation and cannot see that happening.
Finally I wouldn't be surprised if Gus looked abroad again, might get decent talent for better value.
