They're not supposed to. But there has been evidence to the contrary.Hunts don't kill foxes any more and haven't done for donkeys years. They follow a pre-laid scent.

My understanding is the wheelbarrow race is a traditional event that runs on Boxing day - In some media it reports that The Action Against Foxhunting organised their own event to clash with the time the hunt normally has the road closure slot for - ie between 11-12am but that The Wheelbarrow Run event was supposed to start at 10am. This was cancelled because the Hunt threatened to go down the road at 10.00am without having booked a slot. As the paper said, the Anti-Foxhunting event booked for between 11-12 was likely to impact on the Wheelbarrow RunI've lived in Lewes for 35+ years and don't know of tis annual wheelbarrow race' for foodbanks that you talk of. This event was organised by 'action against foxhunting' in my opinion to thwart the hunt. I haven't as you've said made disparaging remarks about the sabs, I have criticised the organisers of the wheelbarrow race. We shall have to differ on why they felt the need to cancel. All i know is that the one or two piles of horse crap could have been cleared up in 5 minutes. Respect to the 20 or so people protesting. The hunt supporters had mostly gone 5 minutes after the horses had charged off.
Really, why do you think that hunts are sabotaged then.....Hunts don't kill foxes any more and haven't done for donkeys years. They follow a pre-laid scent.
They do protest about that. Its just shooters and snarers tend to not march through towns in bright red jackets when doing it.Lets be honest,.as the many posts here demonstrate, the main thrust of the anti fox hunt (whether after foxes or following a trail) brigade is class based. If the antis really cared bout the fox then they would be campaigning against shooting and snaring of foxes which is a truly horrible and slow way of killing a fox. I have never and will never go on a hunt but the hypocrisy and bullsh*t needs calling out.
Well. The truth is that there's still prosecutions every year for illegal hunting with dogs, and even more for other illegal activities carried out by hunts and their members. That's just the ones where the sabs get the evidence to support a prosecution too, so perhaps it's no surprise that attacks on sabs to prevent evidence gathering leads to a significant number of those additional prosecutions.Hunts don't kill foxes any more and haven't done for donkeys years. They follow a pre-laid scent.
I'm anti fox hunt because it's a heartless and cruel practice devoid of any sense of reasonableness or proportionality. Absolutely nothing about class, or, more appropriately, lack thereof.Lets be honest,.as the many posts here demonstrate, the main thrust of the anti fox hunt (whether after foxes or following a trail) brigade is class based.

As for the rest of your post, too unspeakably wrong to get into discussing.

No, there’s never been a charity wheelbarrow race in lewes on Boxing Day, that’s just that.My understanding is the wheelbarrow race is a traditional event that runs on Boxing day - In some media it reports that The Action Against Foxhunting organised their own event to clash with the time the hunt normally has the road closure slot for - ie between 11-12am but that The Wheelbarrow Run event was supposed to start at 10am. The paper said it was a traditional event so I may have misunderstood- Whether it is an annual event or not, whether there was more than one Charity Wheelbarrow event planned or not - the point is that it was the Hunt that thwarted the charity Wheelbarrow run by sending threats and turning up without a road closure slot.
‘Knobs’ that they are.
I think you’re intelligent - so point proven there.Whooosh on two of the replies you have quoted.
Also anyone who thinks I’m intelligent must be a complete thicko

Great turnout for the traditional Boxing Day meet of the Cheshire Hunt today in Tarporley. Took my daughter and she loved it. High Street and all cafes and pubs packed from one end to the other.
Why are you quoting me? I suspect it was a random error on your partNo, there’s never been a charity wheelbarrow race in lewes on Boxing Day, that’s just that.
Did you watch the footage I posted of a trail hunt killing a fox?No, there’s never been a charity wheelbarrow race in lewes on Boxing Day, that’s just that.
Would you object to a sheep farmer who has lost Lambs to a fox from shooting it ?? ps def don`t like snaring any animals
Lamb attacks by foxes are ridiculously small number. Fox attacks on adult sheep are nigh on negligible. Electric fences are very effective at preventing it.Would you object to a sheep farmer who has lost Lambs to a fox from shooting it ?? ps def don`t like snaring any animals

They sound infinity more intelligent and considered than " it's traditional to be a twat on Boxing Day"Is it really the hunt supporters that "are complete thickos or complete bstds" . ?
The three contributions above sound like they come from intelligent people with considered opinions
