But they won't "tax something else" - the sales aren't going to fall by any noticeable amount.

I just don't get this your tax's will go up argument from smokers, they are banning smokeing from public places, not banning it outright.

So i'm sure enough packets will be sold a year to cover the costs of what the goverment makes a year on tax, once the money that is saved by the Nhs will probabily be the same as amount of smokers that quit.


And the one about no one will go to the pub and beer will go up is rubbish aswell, anyone that went to Swansea last april will be able to tell that this wasn't the case
