Might it have something to do with the thousands of Palestinian flags and numerous signs and songs exclusively supporting the Palestinian cause while always condemning Israel?
No, it’s more likely due to pressure being bought to bear on the BBC by an overbearing government and Home Secretary who will jump on any polarized point of view to win votes. It’s Trump’s strategy - divide and conquer. And it’s a very dangerous strategy. It’s what so many who we remember have died trying to prevent.

No arrests at the ceasefire march but the right wing lunatics are kicking lumps out of the police at the cenotaph.

What is Suella Braverman going to have to say about that?

Something along the lines of…….

“Instead of fighting with loyal citizens commemorating Armistice day. The Met had an opportunity to crack down on Islamic extremism but let them march and chant unchecked. We can no longer allow the Police to give those hundreds of thousands of people who supported Hamas and terrorism a free pass.”

No surrender

He's such a whelp, wonder how much "Tommy" has made today.

The Guardian have called it a pro Palestine March as well.

There is pro Palestine chanting and flags.

I'm sure there is a mixture of reasons for people being there

But Tommy Robinson and his followers wish to protect the Cenotaph, why would the Met Police set up an exclusion zone around the Cenotaph aimed at people who are there to supposedly protect the Cenotaph. Isn't it more likely that the Police are more concerned about breakaway groups from the pro Palestine march ?
That would be a bit like when the Rolling Stones hired the Hell's Angels to do their security at the Altamont Festival. That worked out well.

Are you sure you've got this right ?

Only that's the exact same Government and Home Secretary that @Wokeworrier has been a huge supporter and campaigner throughout many years (and accounts) on NSC. And that would imply that he really doesn't understand what he's supporting and campaigning for again

She'll haul Rowley over the coals. The Met doing what it always does: letting Hamas terrorists run riot on the streets of the capital, while targeting law-abiding, patriotic, family-centred, hard-working taxpayers

I think you are right. But I think that a huge number are just there to call for a ceasefire.

92 counter protestor (right wing ****s) arrests.
0 Palestinian march arrests.

Few more arrests to make today; get Braverman in cuffs and on trial and the editors of the Mail and The Express.

Lock them up. Lock them up. Lock them up.
About ‘locking her up’ - One of the lynchpins of a liberal democracy ensuring it not becoming a far-right or far left regime is separation of powers (between the Government, Parliament and the Judiciary) - It has had little media attention but Braverman’s reforms to Judicial Review will put the Government above the law

The existing Judicial Review court cases against the Home Secretary arise out of the principle of ultra vires (where she has acted ‘beyond the power of’ her Ministerial authority) where she has amended Statute legislation with sweeping changes to the right to protest by introducing secondary legislation through the back door thus bypassing parliament (who had already voted them down). Braverman’s reforms to the Judiciary will make JR action like this very difficult and subject it to an onerous test of the validity of claims - Judicial Review could be refused by the courts because under the Government’s new proposed reforms to JR, anything that challenges Ministerial power, could be deemed politically motivated rather than adjudged to be a legitimate challenge based on the principles of law. A bit complicated and obscure but a proposal for fundamental change that has gone unnoticed which could have far reaching implications - (Conversely, so much is made in the MSM of Trump swinging the SCOTUS to the far right with his appointments to the Court and appointing judges with far right sympathies on the lower courts or Netanyahu’s attempts to make sweeping changes to the Judiciary in Israel that would put challenging the decision of his Government out of reach but the majority of the British public don’t even notice it when moves are underfoot to make that happen in our own Country.

The Met Police has said its officers were met with violence and abuse from counter-protesters, who threw bottles and other missiles.

Bad day for Cruella

Well, thats a lovely conspiracy theory but as pointed out already, the Guardian newspaper amongst others (see also Daily Mirror) not known for bowing to supposed government pressure, also describe the march as 'Pro Palestinian'.... probably because it clearly is.

And not one single arrest.
But the 'defenders of the cenotaph' clocked up nearly a ton !

Suella's 'mob' turn out to be law-abiding, while the Met knew exactly who their customers were.
Wokeworrier, your boys took one hell of a beating!
