The last remaining shops in which some are cash only?
Is your favorite local take away cash only?

Mine charges a tenner (doesn’t take cards)One chip shop near me is cash only the rest take cards as they’re on Deliveroo and Uber eats etc.
Only other cash only business I can think of is barbers, who always charge a couple of quid short of a note so you say “keep the change” and those pound coins go straight in their pocket and the taxman is none the wiser.

Did they have to replace the broken bottle they had been using for the parts the rusty pliers couldn't reach??My takeaways all take card, but the barbers is cash only.
She was very apologetic the other day when she told me the price had gone up from £6 to £7.

Any particular number?Sadly, I've reached the point in life where I walk in and just ask for a number.
Ironically, I mastered asking for a haircut just as I ran out of hair for them to cut.
3, but only that high because I'm still in denial.Any particular number?
Sadly I have to report No Tonsure, and salt and pepper loveliness.
I am convinced the reason is the scalp is always kept warm by all the heat generated by the extreme mental activity in the mind tank, located below.
My local Jakarta barber charges what works out to £0.99699 and gets to keep the change.Mine charges a tenner (doesn’t take cards)
This. Combined with rapidly rising prices and daftly cramped opening hours, I'd give my local chippie about a year's survival at most. Shame really, it's been a fixture of the community for decadesI don't shop anywhere that is cash only. No excuse not to take card these days.
