The fact is that the players aren't that bad really. Poor tactical decisions by Micky Mouse cost us this season. They just need a summer to get their confidence up and they will be firing on all cylinders come August

You can leave Hart and Mayo out of that list. They signed one year contracts and were available to play if required (and would no doubt have given 110%) but they've hardly played a game between them, so our poor performances can't be down to them.

Whether we should have given them another year's contract is another matter. The fact is that contracts were offered, and they accepted them. Can't blame them for that. Anyway, can you discount the possiblity that Hart might have scored more than Owusu and Davies between them had he played?

Micky left two months ago. We've got WORSE.

I've only been to the home games since Slade came but we've been a lot better in those than we were under Adams.

I agree about the losing habit though - I still think that individually we've mostly got decent players (there are a few exceptions of course) but for various reasons it hasn't come together, and with them having got into this rut, being tainted by relegation, it's pretty clear that we do need a shake up of the playing staff.
