Their presence is symbolic of the causes of our current malaise, the woolly minded old boy mentality, the lack of any clear vision for the future.

Still, how can they be blamed for the situation we are in at the moment, when they have played very little football? Not exactly their fault is it?

We couldnt beat Luton over two legs in the JPT....

and we couldnt beat Shrewsbury in the JPT either.

The squad arent good enough.

No but we took 4 points off of Leicester and 6 off of Millwall AND done Man City in the cup.
My point is that its too simplistic to say we are not good enough. There definatley is a problem and I believe its a mentality that allows us to beat these teams whilst being rubbish against lower sides. Have we built a team of players who think they are better than they are.....let me ask u guys this....how many players came from championship clubs.... do they only raise there game when we play the big boys and play in big stadiums? How much of a culture shock was Withdean to them?

Weve been at withdean 9 years now and players like jason jarrett have played at withdean in the championship anyway. A football pitch is a pitch. if jarrett played down at somewhere like preston park, does that mean he'll have a shocker cos hes used to big grounds...
theyre professional footballers who get paid to play football at whatever ground.

The squad isnt good enough because we dont have a team. the current mixmatch of players consist of loan players who couldnt care less as they wont be playing in league two with us next season, local lads who arent quite good enough.

We miss Forster and Murray. no question.

Round the back, by the bins.
How about bad luck being a big feature in our season.
At the start of the year we had high hopes of Murray and Forster being the most prolific strikers in the league. How many games have they had together? Without injuries I don't believe we would be in the position we are now. Thomson leaving was another big blow. It doesn't matter who was in charge, these things were unavoidable.
