Apologies, everyone. God, tapatalk is awful, is it not?

My next pick combines solidity, quality, longevity and a nice personal memory. He won the old Division One with Everton in 1987, and remained a stalwart there until 2001, captaining them to the FA Cup in 1995. On a personal note, at possibly the first Premier League game I attended, he volleyed one into the top corner at Highbury from 30 yards. To put that into context, imagine Steve Foster, Danny Cullip or Guy Butters doing that!

Tactically, he gives me the option of pairing him with Tony Adams in a recreation of the central defensive partnership employed to such devastating effect by England at Euro 1988, and pushing Marcel Desailly into his Marseille midfield role.

It's Dave Watson

& please take your time as i am facing a real tactical selection dilemma over my next pick (unless you are selecting that potential pick thats causing my dilemma which will make it very easy for me)

I took my time, and my next pick is actually going straight into my first 11 to replace McAteer at right back (leaving McAteer as a versatile option from the bench) - one of the most talented defenders in the game right now... SEAMUS COLEMAN

Not sure who is on the clock now as I timed out?

My next pick has been difficult to decide because there was a player i was thinking of drafting but it left me with one category that i don't have anyne for yet and a long wait until my next pick which could leave me with very slim pickings or to play it safer and pick someone lesser from that last remaining category and gamble.

Being a poker player, i've decided to gamble and it fits in with my philosophy in this draft of trying to assemble a squad where there is stiff competition between my choices and it's not clear who would actually be the starting choices and who would be on the bench (meaning injuries / suspensions will have a smaller impact on my team)

My penultimate pick is described as a goalkeeper who "boasts lightning reflexes and good decision-making" and is "a formidable opponent in one-on-one situations". He also "commands his box well". Considered one of the best keepers in the world, he is a three-time winner of the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year award. He is currently a Spurs player but both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have been heavily linked with him recently, as he has built up a reputation as one of the best keepers in Europe.

He is

Quite chuffed with this little maestro who qualifies in about 10 categories, including the tricky ones of promotion, scored in a derby and PL hat-trick.

Who wouldn't want a player capable of goals like this on their bench?

Get in there, Yossi Benayoun!!

This pick, the central midfielder which means I can go 442 on occasion and unleash Kinky from the bench has been the toughest, I had Rob Lee down but he went, then Redknapp but he went, then even Ramires but he then went.

As I was trawling through a plethora of journeymen average midfielders I stumbled upon what I believe to be an absolute gem of a CM and I can't believe I overlooked him at first and in the penultimate round he had remained unpicked.

With a Premier league winners medal, an FA Cup winners medal and 27 goals in his 62 England caps..... The scorer of THAT goal against Belgium.... The legend that is ......David Platt!!

I'm going to be a bit boring and choose my sub goalkeeper; with many years of Premier League over his career, making his league debut aged 19, it's Paul Robinson

Needing a bit of pace and power up front, so I've gone for somebody who fills in to a whole host of categories.

As we're towards the end of the draft it's time for the big question:

What shall we do about unfinished teams? I was planning on giving everybody with missing picks, 2/3 days to get their teams in, I'll even message them so no excuses. However, I don't hold up much hope on all of them being completed, which leaves us two options:

We just disqualify them and the voting/tournament will go on with the completed squads.
OR
We finish their squads off for them, picking PL flops so they're at a disadvantage

Give them 48 hours following the last pick, if no full squad is posted by the end of the 48 hours then disqualification IMO
