Be warned I will go all Liam Nesson if this fella gets "taken"!!

To be honest I picked him more for the name and reputation, some people seem to be choosing players based on this rather than actuall PL record.

I can still put together a very good side from undrafted players based purely on their reputations, but they did next to nothing in the Premier League where it counts (I hope, but we will see when being judged at the end).

So Reinelt12 was timed out at 14:28 (and has now posted) which meant JOLovegrove was then timed out at 20:28 so Shatner's Bassoon must be up now IMO

Ok, well my next pick only played two seasons in the league, but in his first he helped Chelsea finish second and reach the Champions League semi finals (not as run of the mill as that would be today), and in his second, was a key part of, in my view, one of the best three or four PL winning teams ever (Chelsea 2005-06). Only two players have scored more goals for Argentina: Batigol and Messi. Not bad company to be keeping! Imagine a strike force of Thierry Henry and Hernan Crespo. Good luck everybody!

There is someone I really wanted to shoehorn in but there is no way now :(

Any chance of a 17th player with the 17th category being scorer of a fantastic goal against Man Utd?

If I'm right, the player you're talking about is the newest member of Team Frutos and is also the player I mentioned having had a 'Eureka' moment about.

He was a no-nonsense defender who picked up more than few red cards during his career, including at least one in blue and white stripes. He brings South American hardman flair to my team, and has the added bonus of probably being fairly popular among the Albion-supporting voters.

Ladies and Gentlemen, when Thomas Hitzlsperger signed for Team Frutos I said it was Hammer Time, but right now...it's TANO TIME.

Step forward MAURICIO RICARDO TARICCO.

Gazwag, time for two from you.

It was between Dzeko and Crespo for me for my 3rd striker, but i chose Dzeko because although they both have a similar strike rates (1 goal every 140 minutes) Dzeko has achieved this over a far longer period of time than Crespo in the Premier League.

(I don't think my strike force is too shabby either: Edin Dzeko, Ian Wright and Dwight Yorke)

Ah, got you.

As Tano's Wiki page made mention of scoring a cracker against United, and given his Albion links, I put 2 and 2 together and appear to have made 5.

That said, I am still more than happy with my pick.

Next is a world cup winner and premier league title winner with Man City. He is a winger who has made 51 appearances so far. He joined City for 14.7M in 2013.

Its Jesus Navas

I shall get this out of the way before I start work, and add to my attacking options by signing OLIVIER GIROUD.
