OK, I'm going for someone who only came to the Premier League in the Summer and has been one of the undoubted stars of the season so far. Assuming he can escape Rohan Ince's pocket in time for kickoff, he'll be free to create havoc and lay chances on a plate for my strikers.

He is, of course, ALEXIS SANCHEZ.

Over to Gazwag for two picks.

That has potentially RUINED my draft...

I had players and a formation set but he was key to it. I was dearly hoping he would survive until my next pick. Now I have a dilemma...do i stick to my formation but go with lesser players or change formation? Either way I'm going to have a weaker team. Thanks. :tantrum:

I assume(which as we all know is a dangerous thing to do) it's from the time when the previous persons go is over.

The problem then would be what if the person before them times out and therefore no notification is sent. Should the next player anticipate when their turn is? (A series of quick picks could catch some out) or do they then get the extra time that a late notification brings?

I think some leeway should be given. It's best for the previous person to do a mention on the thread. Then we all know it's happened.

I agree, it would be a bit harsh if you are suddenly up after a series of quick picks and no-one sends you a notification until your 6 hours are almost up.

For my next pick I need a midfield engine, so i have picked a player who has the 2nd most Premier League appearances of all time, played over 80 times for his country and very sadly passed away over 3 years ago...

Two defenders for my team now....

Played for Sheffield Wednesday in the Premier league for six seasons before he was relegated with them and has his very own unique song

Next has visited the Amex as a manager but also played against Brighton for Birmingham City.

He is remembered for being a massively successful centre back playing for Manchester United. Played 311 premier league matches for United and scored 36 goals.

Has three Premier league titles, three FA cup wins, a league cup win, a cup winners cup and super cup win.

I've never seen him play, but do you really think in the modern game he'd be able to cope with the attackers we have on display now? Imagine him vs. Ronaldo, Sanchez, Aguero, Ibrahimovic, Costa, Welbeck etc. He's got a huge gut on him and looks like any semi-quick player could get round him with ease, and still out strength him if needed.

Matts Hummells is painfully slow, yet he's one of the most coveted centre backs in the modern game. Pace isn't everything in a centre back, Puyol had no legs but was outrageous, John Terry and Jamie Carragher too.

It's been a strugle to know who to pick next and after much thought i have finally decided.

My next pick primarily plays as an attacking midfielder and a winger. He is known for his creativity, speed, and technical ability and has been described as a "fearless, explosive attacking midfielder who can change the game with a turn of pace or a dribble". He has also been described as "a superb passer" and has earned critical acclaim for his playing style, which has led to the media, coaches, and players drawing comparisons to FIFA Ballon d'Or winners Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He is regarded to be one of the best young players in the world

Also there are still outstanding picks from JOLovegrove and Horsham Gull

(and now the agonisingly long wait for my next turn, watching all my ideas for my next go being taken)

Sorry, I'm running late, thankfully my pick is still available. I know I need someone to beef up the midfield. The archetypal box to box midfielder, who has not only a thunderous shot, but also knows how to get back and defend. Running the game from midfield:

It's difficult to explain to the younger supporter just how insanely exciting some of the early overseas signings were, and how mad it was for a Brazilian international to rock up at Middlesbrough. Not only was he a great player, he also had a fantastic attitude and heart, and was visibly distraught when his team was relegated in 1997. He was part of Brazil's 2002 World Cup winning team as well, so all told a superb addition to my team. He is, of course, Juninho.
