Suspect TB will not want to alienate the precious, entitled element of the fanbase by reappointing GP.

If he is the best candidate then appoint him. If people want someone who is less capable than GP to be appointed then fair enough.
He's not even the second best candidate.

A bit of mischief.
Under Potter we scored an average of 2 goals per game. Under De Zerbi it was 1.89 in his first season and 1.44 the second.
When Potter left after 6 games in the 22/23 season we were 4th on 13 points. It took De Zerbi a further 11 games to record as many points.
Potter's points at the start of that season were the difference between Europe and a mid-table finish.
Under De Zerbi we conceded an average of 1.39 goals per game in his first season and 1.63 the second. Under Potter it was 0.7.
De Zerbi’s longest winless run - 6 games
Potter’s longest winless run - 12 games

One of those managers has the potential to relegate a club because they can’t turn results around quickly enough.

The silent majority are seldom heard, because they say f*** all. The vocal minority meanwhile…

Apparently there will be a few tossing their season tickets back should Judas return, well they are gobbing off suggesting they will lol

What do you mean, a blast from the Covid era that we hoped never to wee on NSC again? It's a blast from earlier this week that we never needed to see!
Was that a freudian slip about fans wetting the bed over Potter or what we think of all these Potter suggestions threads? :lolol:

btw Count me OUT - not going to vote in a silly poll as it legitimises that Potter is even under consideration.

Why would we regress in our development? - we build ‘upon‘ not ‘undo’ the work of previous managers.

If he’s the best candidate for Brighton in the whole of the UK and Europe then something has seriously gone astray with TB’s Starlizard algorithms.

No, it was a typo.
Finishing 9th. again - especially after the last third of this season - would be progress, not regression!

P.S. Forgot to press ignore thread button - omission about to be remedied.

I’ll give everyone another 15 minutes to vote before I let PBOBE know the poll result.

I just hope it’s not too late…

It doesn’t say much for our progress if the best candidate in 2019 (as a club which had just scraped staying up) and the best candidate in 2024 is the same guy.

Just for balance...and the responses...

One manager tool over a team in 17th place in the table and left it in 4th
The other took over a team in 4th and left it in 11th
