Why do so many people like to draw the comparison between serving your country, boxing, kick boxing or numerous martial arts and football violence? They are not in competition to see who is hardest/most courageous

I have been involved in martial arts, boxing, served my country and when a lot younger football violence and it not like football lads say, yep we showed those soldiers how hard we are? In fact loads of lads were/are involved who have also been in the services. Of course the two lads on the show were inspirational and courageous but equally no football lad is trying to say they are more courageous!

A strange arguement in my opinion started by people who maybe don't know any of the worlds they are commenting on
