Now I have supported the albion from a young age....so some twenty years now. I must say this currant crop of the last 6-12 months are a soft load of s.h.i.t, and as fans we are getting massively mugged off by these so called big time charlies. They all earn a good wage and what is happening to this footabll club right now is an absolute disgrace and i can tell you it isnt just resting at Adams feet.

I was listening to talksport the other week with Adrian Durham, now the guy often talks rubbish in my opinion....but he made a very good point.

How can lower league clubs go down to places like chelsea & liverpool and in the case of ourselves beat Man city and then lose at home to carlisle?

Granted it is the players cup final and everybody lifts their game....my question is...why the fcuk arnt they giving 110% every game....are they not proud to wear the shirt?? Are they half arsed about being a footballer unless its in front of 40k fans??

At the moment one man alone is bearing the brunt of what this season is turning into....and by no means am I seperating him from this. Adams is making big mistakes week after week and its not acceptable, but what are the players doing?

How can they be motivated for a cup game and generally cannot be bothered for league games!

Its lucky we dont all work like that or we would be sacked.

Footballers = lazy, overpaid, pampered, party boys...who do not deserve to wear the stripes of the albion!

Things go well under Wilkins - you hate him
Things go shite under Adams - you blame players

Your opinions are so loaded with agenda it is hard to take them seriously.

I dont hate anyone and this isnt about me.

I am glad Wilkins went he wasnt the person to take us forward.

Adams should go in my opinion, he has been given long enough now and if he stays we will go down I think and that CANT happen.

As for the players they are just lazy and not fit to wear the shirt!

A big part of why small fry beat big clubs, is because the big teams are REALLY filled with 'big-time-charlies', and they totally under-estimate the fight in the dog.
Perspective like that trips them up.

Man City's draw with us (subsequently losing on pens) had as much to do with their dropping their guard as us landing the blows.
Derby County, however, were prepared to earn a win - which they did rather convincingly.

For the first time in my life I boo'd the team on Saturday.

I also hurled abuse at Adams.

Sadly, I cannot see it being the last time.

I see no gain in booing the team or shouting at Adams...nothing positive can come from it....but you pay your money mate...you do have the freedom to do as you please.

Boo every game...why not boo before it starts...in theory as Greg Abbot said......we will use this to our advantage".

Its giving the opposition the upperhand, so were really just mugging ourselves off.

I heard that the players prayed before each game. Could be the problem.

I spent 90 minutes getting behind the team.

To be honest by the end frustration just got the better of me.

I made the conscious effort to try and be more positive since the transfer window but if anything the football is even worse.

I just wish Adams would show some passion.

You, and the rest of us, can never know that.
Up until his displacement, he had taken us forward.

So your statement is pie in the sky, conjecture and basically - just a guess.

Who cares where my opinion, thoughts come from....even if they were factually based upon results it guarentee's nothing.

The thing is..the board agreed aswell, even though the appointment of adams has proved the wrong one....they still believed in Wilkins wasnt the man.

And they believed Adams was. Can hardly say they are the barometer of whether opinions are right or wrong.

As for fans who shout abuse at adams...they should be banned or fcuk off elsewhere....write your little comments on a message board..but as for screaming abuse at a guy who brought this club so much success and shapped the last 5-7 years of enjoyment.....is nothing short of pathtic.

Well.....Adams,taylor,coppell,mghee were hardly bad choices were they?

But no doubt as an albion fan all you will do now is point out the mistakes they have made and make them the source of your defense!

I couldn't belive my eyes and ears on Sat when a huge number of people in South Stand were giving several of the players a standing ovation after the final whislte on Sat.

When I questioned why they were doing this, I was told it was because they were "true supporters". Surely applauding such a perforamce only sends a message to the players that current perforamces are acceptable?

Because I was not applauding (neither was I booing or having a go) I was told the club don't need supporters like me (a season ticket holder who does most away games) and perhaps I was part of the reason why we are in the bottom 4.

These happy clappy mugs need to get a reality grip IMO

Sounds like you were being a bit of a nob asking them in the first place. Why shouldn't they clap just because you disagree with them?

I'm too old to boo the team now ( I have done so in the past - in fact I remember telling Alan Mullery that he didn't know what he was doing and booing Peter Ward after he had put in what I considered to be a particulalrly poor effort against Coventry or some such other big tean in the old first Divsion))

I have experienced too many relegations now to get upset by them anymore. They happen. And for BHA fans they happen quite often.

Booing is rather pointless but, I admit, eminently satisfying given that I have to justify shelling out over £25 a game to watch this shower.

Nowadays, I just keep my mouth shut (like most of E black at the mo) and just turn my back on the players and walk out of the ground without acknowleging the players. They haven't done anything for a long time to earn my praise..

I have never booed any player or manager in my years at the Albion, basically because I can't see much point. However, if I'd have shelled out £25 plus travel costs for something that was substandard I can understand how people's frustrations get the better of them. The fact that the supporters have been shown such poor fare repeatedly makes it ever more reason to be upset.

And how exactly is lambasting the players as in the thread title any example for your sentiment??

The players are brought in by Adams - they're his team!
The tactics are invented by Adams.
The discipline in the implementation of those tactics - Adams.
The encouragement of the side whilst playing - Adams.
The decisions on the fly, according to the tactics of the opposition - Adams.

There's not much getting away from it, this is now Adams' team. He has created it, decided upon the members of it, and is charged with moulding them into a shape that works for the tactics HE has decided upon.

Everyone points to a player rebellion last season - but unless those players are rebelling now, they are doing what Adams is instructing.
To my eyes, he has not got a clue.
