Why does that sound like i was being a nob? They shouldn't not clap because of what I think. They shoudln't clap players and a performance that was below what we expect. Do you really think saying well done to a player who has had a shit game will help him improve?

It's not a case of the players not trying. Elphick, Sullivan, Hinsh, VIrgo, Forster, El-Abd, Fraser are very passionate about the Albion.
All the others try their hardest aswell.
They are being coached terribly, no understanding, no partnerships.
The complete coaching set-up is a shambles and sooner they are out the better

Anyone who claps after a 2-0 home defeat to a relegation rival is bonkers and is actually the type of person who is doing more harm than good, even if they don't realise it
It is the current mentality I am afraid...
90 minutes without a single shot on target at home to a relegation rival and its pats on the back all round.
Like you say, more harm than good will be done by just accepting and embracing failure.
